About & Rules
Founding lore, the tournament format, and the official house rulebook — including redemption, overtime and Wine Pong.
About
Started in 2019 with just five teams, the Beeroupa League has grown into something far greater. Over the years, three more teams joined the battle, bringing the total to eight and turning a competition into a tradition.
The league has travelled across Sweden—from Danderyd to the fields of Skåne and even to the forests of Värmland—creating memories and moments that live far beyond the final whistle.
It is a tournament of emotions: glory and heartbreak, excitement and devastation. Every year, legends are made and dreams are broken.
16 Players. Eight Teams. Two Days. One Trophy.

Rules
- Elbow
The elbow must not extend past the edge of the table.
- Balls back
If both players hit their shots, they get the balls back and shoot again.
- Bitch cup
If the first shot of the game goes into the middle cup, it does not count. (Playoffs only).
- Bullseye
Both balls in the same cup = 3 cups removed + balls back. (cannot be used to win the game)
- Dagger
If both players hit the final cup, the match is instantly, no redemption.
- Balls back on the final cups
If you hit the last 2 cups consecutively, you get balls back for a chance to hit a dagger and end the match.
- Rebound
Valid until the ball touches the floor (the table counts as open air).
- Interference by a defending hand
If a defender blocks a shot illegally, remove any cup of the shooting team's choice.
- Trickshot
When the ball bounces back off the table. The entire table is free play; the floor = dead ball (the player must stand behind the table line when throwing).
- Knocking over a cup
Set it back up and refill it (it is your fault for filling it unevenly or on the wrong side).
- A made cup regardless of the situation
One ball in a cup = cup is removed (even if it just dips in).
- Re-racking (Formation)
The new formation is set up at the very front of the triangle. (Allowed twice per game during playoffs).
- Flick defense
Neither the ball nor fingers may touch the liquid, and body must remain behind the edge of the table until the ball hits the cup.
- Blow defense
Body must remain behind the edge of the table until the ball hits the cup.
- Winepong
10 cups total: The losers must drink the remaining cups and will face the first seed from the group stage. The winners will face the second seed.
- The mark of shame
The team that finishes last (loses the winepong) gets burned with a cigarette on the left butt cheek.
- Rings
Under no circumstances may this year's rings be tried on before they have been worn by the winners. (Rings won in previous years may be worn).
